Steve and Sharron Wyllie moved to Sicamous in April of 2008. They had visited Sharron’s parents here prior to that and had decided they wanted make this their retirement destination.The announcement to shut down all Canfor operations in Fort Nelson gave them the nudge to get going sooner rather than later. They purchased the Trig’s Septic Service business and call Sicamous home. They have been doing a “Mara Run” as part of their services and many residents in Swansea Point are customers. They are delighted to be a part of this community, appreciate the business relationships they have and want to give back to community. The Swansea Point Fire Department worked with Flagworks to get a used 20′ flag pole for the fire hall. Money to pay for the pole was raised from calendar sales.
